CorroArmour
HEAVY-DUTY PROTECTION FOR HIGHLY CORROSIVE ENVIRONMENTS
PROTECT STEEL STRUCTURES AND EQUIPMENT FROM RUST AND CORROSION
CorroArmour is an acrylic, water-based coating designed to provide heavy-duty protection for steel structures and equipment operating in highly acidic and corrosive environments.
Formulated with a flash rust inhibitor, CorroArmour dries to form a clear, tough, highly flexible and waterproof film that helps protect steel surfaces from rust and corrosion. It is particularly suited to demanding environments where humidity, acidity, moisture and corrosive conditions are a concern.
Benefits
BUILT TO PROTECT WHERE CORROSION IS A PROBLEM
CorroArmour provides a durable protective coating for steel exposed to demanding environmental conditions. Its formulation offers excellent protection in humid and acidic environments while maintaining flexibility and strong adhesion to a wide variety of substrates.
1
HEAVY-DUTY CORROSION PROTECTION
Designed to protect steel structures and equipment operating in highly acidic and corrosive environments.
2
FLASH RUST INHIBITOR
Formulated with a flash rust inhibitor to provide additional protection during the coating process.
3
FLEXIBLE & WATERPROOF
Dries to a clear, tough, highly flexible and waterproof film that protects the underlying steel surface.
4
EXCELLENT UV STABILITY
5
EASY TO APPLY & REPAIR
The coating is easy to apply, while damaged areas can simply be recoated. The fresh coating chemically bonds to the existing Corro-Armour layer.
6
EXCELLENT ACID RESISTANCE
Provides excellent acid resistance and has passed a 500-hour salt spray test in accordance with ASTM B117.

Â
Yes. Once dry, Corro-Armour forms a highly flexible waterproof film over the steel surface.
Corro-Armour can be applied using an airless spray gun or a lambswool roller. The product should be mixed thoroughly before use.
A minimum wet film thickness of 250 microns must be achieved, which corresponds to approximately 100 microns dry film thickness.
The stated drying time is approximately 2 hours at room temperature.
At a 250-micron wet film thickness, Corro-Armour has a coverage rate of approximately 5 m² per litre. At a 250-micron wet film thickness, Corro-Armour has a coverage rate of approximately 5 m² per litre.
Yes. A fresh coat can be applied directly to the damaged area. The coating will chemically bond to itself.
No. Corro-Armour should not be applied in wet or freezing conditions and should be protected from rainfall until the coating is dry.
Yes. The technical data sheet rates its acid resistance as excellent and records a 500-hour salt spray test pass according to ASTM B117.
